My 2nd Super Awesome Giveaway!
Filed Under (Giveaway) by maida on 01-02-2009

February is finally here. I’ve been so excited for this month’s prize that I could hardly wait…
The kind folks at MimicCreme have generously donated 2 containers of their fabulous product. MimicCreme is a non-dairy cream substitute made from almond and cashew milks. It is soy-free, gluten-free, and contains no saturated fats (unlike dairy cream). This unsweetened variety of MimicCreme (it also comes in sweetened and sugar-free sweetened varieties) is perfect for making hot chocolate, ice cream, creamy pasta sauces and soups. Or use it straight from the carton in your coffee or tea. Really, the possibilities are endless. Substitute MimicCreme (1:1 ratio) in any recipe that calls for dairy cream and I think you’ll be surprised at how this measures up. Every time I’ve ever used it, I’ve never been disappointed. I LOVE THIS STUFF!!
Ready for your chance to win? All you have to do is answer the following question in the comments section of this post by midnight on Sunday, February 8th. When the deadline hits, I’ll randomly pick two winners (not based upon your answers– I’ll randomly generate numbers). Now for the question:
If you could go on vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Sorry, but the contest is limited to those with a U.S. mailing address. I’ll try to come up with future prizes that don’t involve mailing for those outside of the U.S. Good luck!

I would bring my family and closest friends to the Laguna Beach Resort in Phuket, Thailand. I know that is very specific, but I spent a lot of time there with my family growing up and would love to go back! I went back last year, but could only bring myself and wished I could share the experience. White beaches, crystal blue water, perfect sunsets, awesome pools, relaxation… What is there not to love?
I would go to vacation/visit my Aunt, Laurajean Coleman who lives on the Big Island of Hawai’i. She is 84 years old and like a second mom to me. She taught me how to cook.
I would go to Paris because it is my favorite city. I would love to see it at Christmas time!
Melbourne. They have summer when I have winter. And there appears to be a good vegan scene. And I have a friend so I can stay there for free.
I’d take my family to Destin, Florida. Friends of ours own a house right on the beach.
I think I would go to Bruges, Belgium! I just saw the movie “In Bruges,” and it looked absolutely gorgeous there, despite what the movie’s characters were saying about it!
