Margaritas!

Matt and I like to have margaritas occasionally. A vacation in a glass, they make us think of our trip to Mexico . Needing some R&R, we decided to have one this weekend and it totally scratched our vacation itch… at least for a minute or two. So here you have it, my simplified version of a margarita.
“So Refreshing You’ll Think You’re Sitting On the Beach In Mexico” Margaritas
(click here for a printer-friendly version)
1 1/2 oz. tequila
1/2 oz. Cointreau
1 oz. fresh lime juice
1/2 oz. agave
Throw everything into a shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously for a few seconds. Pour into a glass filled with ice. OR blend it all up in the blender. Either way you make it, I know it’ll hit the spot.

Nice margarita recipe! If you have some gin, try making gin gimlets…they’re even easier!

That does sound tasty! I’ll have to give it a try sometime.
