Emma’s Food

Breakfast

Mini waffles; pure maple syrup; blueberry coconut yogurt topped with blueberries

She ate everything, except for the yogurt.  Blueberries are her favorite and always go over well.  The blueberries and waffles were from the freezer, too!  I was surprised that the ate all of her waffles, as she doesn’t usually tend to.  Even though the blueberry coconut yogurt was a hit last week, she didn’t even touch it today.  I’ll try giving it to her again with dinner.

Snack

Mini rice cakes; half of a granola bar; edamame; grapes

A new session of gymnastics started this morning.  Class ends at 10:30 and I wanted to plan to stay and play at the playground before we left.  With grocery shopping yesterday, our day was not very exciting.  After class (which Emma did extremely well in– she’s getting much better at listening to the teacher and following directions), Emma had her snack (she ate most of the food here) and then we headed outside to play.  On the way home from the park, we swung by the library to pick up a copy of The Ultimate Uncheese Cookbook that I had on hold.  I flipped through it quickly and I’m very, very excited to try out some recipes.  This may be one book that I’ll have to add to my home collection.
